Nursery
All of the plants that we grow here at our nursery are selected for their suitability for this area and climate. They are all propagated on site and are carefully grown outside (with no forcing on), to produce healthy, fully hardy specimens that you can buy in confidence. If we don’t grow a plant that you require, we can source it for you.
Gardening
We cover all aspects of garden maintenance work: mowing and strimming, tidying and weeding, supplying plants and plant sourcing, pruning and plant care, “Grow-Your-Own” advice etc.
Our emphasis is on providing a friendly, reliable, professional service. With over 10 years’ horticultural experience, we have an extensive plant knowledge and are able to work quickly and efficiently, bringing out the best in your garden. The gardening service is charged at an hourly rate and we are available for a one-off “Spring Clean” or for regular visits to keep your garden in shape.
A Little About Us
We are a small, family-run plant nursery. Our stock consists of alpines and perennials, and also some herbs and cut flower plants. Our emphasis in on producing beautiful, healthy plants at affordable prices and providing expert horticultural advice.
The alpine collection includes many well-know varieties, but also more rare, unusual specimens. These plants are ideally suited to the area, with its rocky soil conditions. Choose from over 200 varieties.
The perennial collection includes an array of hardy plants suitable for a lasting garden display. Choose from over 150 varieties for different requirements: create a shade garden, a sensory garden, plant for full sunshine and drought tolerance etc.
We are on-hand to talk through your choices with you and suggest the right plant for the right place. With over 15 years’ horticultural experience, we are happy to answer your questions on garden maintenance and plant care.
